Time is ticking posted at 01:50
Didn't do much today since he book out around 1pm in the afternoon and had to book in at 11pm at night. We had less than 10 hours together. Tick tock tick tock. Picked him up at Boon Lay, had our lunch at Westgate's Tim Ho Wan. There was supposed to be prawn chee cheong fan and carrot cake, but I'm too hungry. I basically started eating right after this. Although my food wasn't THAT good. I guess I preferred the glutinous rice.
Bought cake for his mom's birthday. Went to his house to drop his stuff, head out wanting to watch movie but we went Sheng Siong to buy a white chocolate oat biscuit (?) he really like. Got yam taro with pudding for myself, talked and it was time to head back to camp. Time is short man.
Although I did caught My Neighbor Totoro yesterday night.
Synopsis: Two sisters encounter a mythical forest sprite and its woodland companions when they move to rural Japan.
I have been wanting to watch this for a very long time since I was a huge fan of Spirited Away. It wasn't what I expected it to be. I thought there might be a huge story line, something I can maybe learn? Overall it was a light-hearted movie full of innocence and fantasy. What I really love was their father acceptance of Totoro. He might be faking it, but he truly cares for his daughters. Instead of disagreeing with them, he mention that Totoro is the "guardian of the forest", he will only show himself if he wants to. Which is different from usual cartoon movies. It's a cute and lovely movie. Something to make me forget about Salo. And it's something you should watch if you had enough with "evil villains", there's none in this movie.
Shall talk about Laddaland and Before I Go To Sleep on another day. Good nights guys!
