Backtracking a bit since I didn't talk about last Saturday. Although nothing much happened that day. Can't remember much since I have a shitty memory but I do remember that I received a rose from my boyfriend. Just one of those things he do once in a while to show that he loves and appreciate me. Little things matters the most.
Had our lunch here and there. Eating cakes from Bengawan Solo, to have toast and eggs and finally getting some green tea frappe and sandwich from McCafe. Hate how eggs are so expensive outside, it costs maybe around $1.50 - $2 for two eggs. It's like the price of ten eggs. The revenue gain is crazy, even if they are paying rent and ingredients with that. Okay enough complaining. Both of us walked over to Sentosa with Eugene. Didn't do much over there since we were not there for USS or many other stuff. "Just wanna lay like this forever".

Went to Plaza Singapura and had Burger King for breakfast before walking around aimlessly in the mall because we are both waiting to watch Avengers. Although he watched it already, I'm the one anticipating it. Not that I understand it all, I just like the actions and the drama. I know I take a lot of photos with him, I guess it's just my way of making up for the lost days.
I thought it was quite good, it provide me with the actions and drama I expected. A love line that I didn't expect. Tension, eagerness and of course some background story. Especially the after credits, like come on, how can you skip the after credits for Marvel stories. But what I understand from my boyfriend is that it doesn't follow exactly to the comic/animation/books. Not that those changes are minor, it is a huge deal. If I don't care much about the storyline, this would probably be a good movie to me. But then again, after listening to what he said, the movie became meh to me. I wish it followed more to the animation though. I already don't understand most of it, and now it deviates more from the original story?! Oh well, that's Hollywood.
Had Ichiban for lunch, LOVE IT BECAUSE OF THE MASSIVE AMOUNT OF SALMON SLICES. Just that there's no sauce for the rice, I replaced it by pouring the miso soup into the rice. So worth it and good. The lobster wasabi mayo maki as well, good awesome yums. HAHA So happy to finally eat Salmon Don though, I have been asking my boyfriend week after week, he finally brought me to Ichiban to eat. He mentioned that his sole purpose in life is to feed me. I think it's starting to become the truth hehe.

The carrot cake melts in your mouth, fragrant, soft, on point. The egg cake was unexpected since usually it's more on the dense side, but they made it so fluffy and light, plus point! Although the beef noddle disappoints. The portion is quite small, the soup is not strong enough, the beef was tender though. The baked bun, LOVE THE SUGAR CRUST and the meat filling inside. I would prefer it in Liu Sha Bao form, but this is nice as well. The Liu Sha Bao from Mouth Restaurant is amazing. No kidding, one of the best I have tasted. Go try them! You wouldn't regret.
