Previously on my life...

(Spot the tv hint)

There's gonna be a lot of photos, so brace yourself x (And words)

I have finally tried Swee Choon one day after work. Been wanting to try the food since forever but never got the chance to. And because of Wei Ting, I have come to realised that it's near my place. So one day, due to our hunger, we had supper there. The food was okay okay, not as nice as I thought it would be, but it wasn't as bad. It didn't live up to my expectation of a SUPER good dimsum (because of all the high recommendations I've heard). Although it was good with a awesome accompaniment.

Food nearby Old Changi Hospital. It was expensive but worth it, considering it was an amazing day. We took a super long time to reach OCH, but it was quite dark by the time we reached. The place gave us an eerie feel to it, and I sort of chickened out. I was panicking for god knows what reason and we didn't really get in. Although we SWEAR we saw lights in one of the rooms! I mean, that place doesn't have any electricity anymore right? (I read up). So how can there be lights?! And the lights weren't even moving (indicating that there are some adventurous people trying to navigate themselves with a torchlight in OCH). I thought it was a hole in the ceiling when I first saw it, unfortunately my boyfriend convince me otherwise that it wasn't. So I freaked. Yup. Then we went to somewhere to chill, drink and took bus to Tampines Mall.

Couple cycling at East Coast Park. Rained really heavily, we were drench from head to toe. Was actually okay but our bike wheel dropped off and we couldn't continue, so we had to take shelter somewhere else. Quarreled A LOT. Guy came with another bike, extend our hours, had hot chocolate (which is actually milo), became a princess because the wiring of the wheel dropped off so one side of the bike wasn't usable and my boyfriend had to push the bike. Went to Parkway Parade after that, but we still had fun surprisingly.

Had our yearly tradition. Writing on the New Years' Ball. Although this time we have a ball all to ourselves. Anyway, this was the aftermath of our ecp drenched trip. I became a full time auntie. We have gone through two New Years' beginning. Hopefully we can continue on until our end of time.

Finally went for prawning. Shared a rod with my boyfriend and had a wonderful time getting pinched by prawns over there. I was a first timer so I was pretty glad to even get any prawns. And I learnt the hard way that you have to be cruel or else they will pinch you. The procedure is that, you have to pull away their legs so that they will not struggle as much. Though I was too weak, and this prawn named Fighter (okay I named it, due to fourfeetnine), pinched me THRICE. And yes, it hurts badly, and the fact that my boyfriend continued to laugh at me didn't help. (No he didn't help me remove Fighter off my hands). So after much struggle, we managed to put it into the net (but it was still moving). Until the moment I cooked it. Yes, the prawns were AMAZING GOOD. There was an uncle that gave us his prawns though! He was really nice about it hehe.

(Finally had pastry lessons)
Tired but so fun.

We found Kinder Surprise! One of my favourite treats when I was younger. And I still love it now! It's located at Raffles City's The Cocoa Tree. I think it's at Basement 1. Still prefer this than Kinder Joy. The packaging is so much cuter, but I just hate the fact that my boyfriend (who hates chocolate), stuff the egg into my mouth so that he can get the toy without needing to eat the chocolate. Thanks man.

Got my Tang Yuan for Dong Zhi! And it is in one of my favourite shades of pink! Yes I'm weird, I have other shades of pink I hate.

A bunch of my favourite people in the whole wide world. Yes I love my cousins. And my boyfriend. Finally got to see them after so long! Having dinner with my side of the family for my grandma's birthday. My boyfriend is yet again freaking out. He should be fine already though, considering he has been attending a few of my family events since we were together. Hehe.

(Somewhere here, I baked Cream Puffs, and they turned out well)

Tried Strictly Pancakes again (really need to stop calling it simply pancakes), this time I feel my craze going down. The menu mentioned a patty of crabcake. Well, literally, "A". But the garlic buttered prawns are still lovely. Love it love it love it! IT'S SO FILLING.

At boyfriend's birthday chalet. I had tons of fun from the chalet! 3 days 2 nights! Prepared so much for it. Tons of liquor, bbq food, pizzas, ice cream, mixers, fun FUN FUN. Although we had a hard time before it, the journey was wonderful. BBQ-ed food with Yao Jie on the first day. Issac helped starting the fire! Thank god for him. Drank a little on the first day, so many people stayed over, ton, talked a lot. Spent half of the afternoon sleeping. Had pizzas in the evening. Only Chee Pang, Eugene, and us two stayed over for the second night. But Bryan, Samuel and Meng Song came for a while! Woke up in the morning feeling like shit (I vomited a lot, but I remembered everything that happened). Had breakfast and celebrated new years' with my love. It was crazy. But I had so much fun.

Gone over to Bryan's house to celebrate. Fireworks, a little disappointment, oh well, it's the new year! I love you!

A trip to Malaysia for 2 days 1 night! Bought a lot of shoes for myself and a treat to myself. My favourite place to go to when I want to have dinner at Johor. Watched movie (the police story 2013) with my parents and fell asleep. Life is good.

Got a haircut at Malaysia and they straighten my hair! Didn't really want it though, it damages my hair. Oh wells, once in a while! (Once a year technically) Saw cute children everywhere, sigh I love kids so much. Hopefully I can have one when I grow older!

My boyfriend got me my second, third, fourth (I didn't take photo of the third and fourth one), bracelet. My favourite shade of pink and the design is so so so nice! So glad to have him! I always loved bracelet but nobody had gotten me one, except him haha. Love you!

TGIF (sort of). This was the before, got a dress afterwards. Will show you guys next time, love the dress so much! Thanks to my boyfriend for buying for me! Wedges hurt BADLY. It killed my feet. At least I had fun.

Had dinner at chomp chomp. My boyfriend's attempt at feeding me to the witch. (do you get the pun). He bought so much food that I almost wanted to vomit after eating them, overstuffed. But it was really nice. Had a great time, ventured into a shopping mall, nice food, talked a lot. I swear my favourite days are all with him. Had two big cups of sugarcane, nice environment, MAJOR LOVE.

Even when I'm so full... I can't resist the urge of eating a thick toast when I dine in a Hong Kong Cafe. My guilty pleasureee.

PHEW. THIS POST TOOK A WHILE. I think I took 1 hour to do this. (Okay I got distracted anyways). Was supposed to be studying Japanese, watching videos on napkin folding, continuing on my MCE blueprint, but unfortunately I had a temptation to blog. Sorry for being missing in action for almost two months. But I had to blog after I heard from my boyfriend that he checks my blog every morning when he wakes up. He better check tomorrow, if he didn't, I will find out that he lied. MUAHAHAH. Surprise test. Anyway, thanks for reading! Bye!
