For the first time in my 18 years of being alive, I went to Holland Village. I used to think that it's a place whereby there's a lot of old buildings, HDBs, old people. Something like country bumpkin kind of place. But today's trip turn my view upside down. In fact, it was somewhere with amazing semi-detached houses, lovely interior design, wonderful food, beautiful restaurant. It's so laid-back over there. Totally not what I expected. There's pubs, bakery classes, old shopping malls. I was blown away. But it was stupid of me not to take photos of the pretty houses, considering I was there for awhile. Oh, and I slept for 14 hours. Never done that before, I guess I was incredibly tired then... Oh and I got burnt by my boyfriend's cigarette, HAHA. For the first time. It hurts for awhile then nothing. But there's a blister now.
After which, my boyfriend and I started stressing out. Because of the high prices of the houses in Singapore. I mean how do we even get that kind of money! It's kind of sad that Singaporeans can't afford houses in their own country. Oh well... Went to City Square Mall after that. Walked around as usual, got cheated by a car machine. Tried baking hazelnut macarons, the surface cracked but there's feet! Formal wear for tomorrow again. I have to bring my comfortable shoes there first. My feet almost died on me when I reached home on Monday.
Watch this! It's such a sweet apartment. If all works out, we might be moving to the States? I don't know. Even though it would be wonderful to live there, it's 20 hours way from home. We can't bring our whole entire family over there right? And maybe opening up a small cafe? Hope everything works out in the end. Cross fingers.
Side note: I might be getting a job as a tuition teacher? Maybe not paid, but it's all about the experience. I'm excited yet scared!
