Sometimes I really hate taking the public transports in Singapore.

Not just because it's getting worse, but it' of the people in it. I know the trains are getting more run down, there's a lot of maintenance of the trains going on, trains intervals are longer now and also tons of break downs. Causing late for work, late for school and much more. It didn't used to be like this. Although those are not the only factors that irritate me.

1) Moving In
I hate how people don't know how to move in. I see a lot of spaces in between the cabins of the trains but people just don't bother to move in. Cause they don't want to squeeze with other people, they rather not squeeze in and have ample space for themselves instead of thinking for others. Or because they are reaching their stop, and moving in even more would cause more inconvenience to them when they are trying to get out. But why can't they think, what if they are the ones out there, would they want the people to move in as well? And because of incidents like this, the people outside could miss up to 2-3 trains.

(see how the train isn't even here and people are blocking the exits already)

2) Getting Seats, Boarding Train
The people that can't wait to get into the train to get seats irks me. They don't even bother waiting for the passengers to alight first, they just rush in and push you back in (Sometimes we have to get out right). Which is ultimately one of the most irritating to do. Can't you just wait for us to alight first? It's not that long. Well... Some takes a VERY long time to get out, but we will talk about it later. Apparently squeezing through the crowd seems like a better choice than waiting for us to get out. And usually I will get real pissed and push them back out. Ya I'm childish, BUT UGH. Why do people have no considerations? Or maybe because they want to get into the train as soon as possible in case the door close on them.

(I cannot find a picture / gif that portray how slow Singaporeans walk, so here's a cute snail)

3) Moves Slow
People that moves slow to get out, and not the normal kind of slow, it's as if they are taking a stroll in the park. This people are one of the reasons why people rush in before we could get out. Since you reached your stop, and it's a peak hour, you should do your duty and walk out as fast as possible so that people can enter. But no... They take like 1/2 or 3/4 of the time to get out. The rest of the time, it causes the people outside not to be able to get in. I mean it's not that hard to get out fast first and you can do whatever you want later on.

4) Stay On Your Left
Annoying right? Especially when you're late and everyone just decides to stay on the right to piss you off. Like there's not enough space for you to walk up / go down. And you can hear your train coming but there's no way you can rush there in time due to the number of people that refuses to get away. If you'r not in the hurry, why can't you stay on your left or at least walk up so that the people behind can pass. The most irritating one is when two friends are talking right in front of you. One on the left and one on the right, blocking the entire pathway. CAN'T YOU JUST TALK ELSEWHERE. And when I say excuse me, they choose to ignore.

5) Queue Up
This people thinks they own the train, so they can cut queue anytime they want. People have been queuing long before them and they just cut in front of them. Causing the people queuing to miss the train they are supposed to board. Show some respect and queue man.

A few of the common reasons why public transports are a nuisance sometimes. I apologize for not posting recently, my life is boring HAHA. But I'm learning how to do floor tomorrow at work. Hopefully I got something to talk about. Or else...

Good night
